Reporting to Assistant brewing manager/ Brewing team leaders, Brewing operators will perform the activities of beer production process which include but not limited to, operation of Raw material handling, brewing, fermentation, filtration, yeast management and CIP machineries in safe and effective ways to ensure the production of highest quality beverages.
Role And Responsibility
Under close supervision of team leaders,
Operate machineries enabling the possibilities to prevent possible loss of extracts, non-conforming intermediate/finished products and down times.
Receive correct quantities of materials from store and make machineries ready for operation a head of to ensure smooth production run.
Keeping a close eye on the brewing, fermentation and filtration processes to ensure they proceeds correctly and adjusting as needed.
Conducting tests to ensure the final or intermediate products meets quality standards, communicate on time and adjust as needed.
Record all process and consumption data are on their right reporting format and/or logbooks.
Make connections like hoses, swing bends and others for the purpose of change over and CIPs as needed.
Prepare the right quantity of process aids and additives as needed.
Participate in inventory management activities to keep track of raw materials and chemicals, ensuring accurate inventory and quality management.
Ensure activity of the shift is completed and properly handed over to the next shift.
Maintain the hygienic standards of processing areas including floors, roofs external kettle and tank bodies, CIP schedules.
Lead by example to ensure personal hygiene, use of proper PPEs and GMP of peers.
Provide relevant on job training, coaching, and mentoring for newly assigned manpower.
Perform other duties which will be given by his/her supervisors.

Education
College, University/Undergraduate
Qualifications
BSc/TVET in Industrial/Applied chemistry, Biology, Food science Brewery/ IMD/Electrical electronics/Mechanical or related fields
Experience
Minimum 2 for BSc and 4 years for diploma relevant experience in Brewery industry as Brewhouse/filtration/fermentation operator.
Additional Competencies:
Having a mindset of achieving excellence.
Problem solving
Knowledge of process control mechanisms, Pumps, motors, SCADA.
Record keeping abilities
Experience in improving beer production processes.
