Key Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, development, and execution of software development, customization, and integration strategies in alignment with the organization’s goals.
Prepare technical and functional specifications for new applications and software acquisition process; and participate on the bid evaluation, implementation and testing process;
Develop and implement policies, standards, and procedures for the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and integration processes.
Oversee all software development and integration projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
Develop new functionalities and features on the Applications based on the user requirement;
Manage project teams, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure objectives are met.
Ensure thorough testing, debugging, and quality assurance for all software projects before deployment.
Recruit, train, and mentor software development and integration teams to ensure high performance and technical competence.
Provide continuous professional development opportunities to team members to keep them updated with the latest technologies and practices.
Manage software customization projects to tailor existing solutions according to business needs and client requirements.
Handle the communication with vendors of Auxiliary Applications related services in order to maximize their value in technical support, change management and upgrade of systems.
Manage the customization, upgrade, parameterization of the Auxiliary applications based on the user requirement.
Ensure that customized solutions integrate seamlessly with the organization’s core systems while maintaining performance and scalability.
Lead efforts to integrate third-party systems and applications with existing platforms while ensuring data integrity, security, and smooth operation.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure that software integration aligns with business operations and enhances system efficiency.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business units, and other departments, to understand their requirements and ensure software solutions meet their needs.
Act as the primary point of contact for external vendors and service providers involved in software integration and customization projects.
Ensure all software solutions comply with industry standards, security protocols, and legal requirements, including data protection regulations.
Keep up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in software development, customization, and integration.
Foster an innovative culture within the division, encouraging the exploration of new technologies that can improve efficiency and drive business growth.
Prepare and present regular progress reports to supervisor
Perform duties as assinged by its immediate and second Level supervisor"

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or master's in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information System, Information Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field with 7/5 years of experience respectively of which 2 years as Supervisory position in software development or related areas.
